WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN

WHY 21K RULES TRADITION

Across Jordan and the Gulf, 21k is the karat of tradition, richer in color, higher in gold content, and the standard for bridal gold sets (shabka), bangles, and pieces bought partly as a store of value. Its price tracks the gold market closely, which is exactly why families trust it.

ONE LAST TIP: COMPARE LIKE WITH LIKE

When comparing prices between jewelers, confirm the karat first. A heavier 18k diamond ring and a lighter 21k plain band aren't the same product, and neither is "more real" than the other. Both are gold; they simply serve different purposes.
