HOW TO MEASURE RING SIZE ACCURATELY
To measure your ring size, wrap a strip of paper around your finger, mark where the ends meet, and measure the length with a ruler. Measure around the finger knuckle and take readings in the evening for best accuracy.
THREE WAYS TO FIND YOUR SIZE
- Paper or string: wrap a thin strip snugly around the base of your finger, mark the overlap, and measure the length in millimeteres, that's your circumference. Find it in the chart below.
- An existing ring: measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits the intended finger, and match it in the chart.
- Professional sizing: the most precise option, visit the atelier and we'll size you in a minute, with coffee.

Every Izmirian ring is made or adjusted to your size at our Amman atelier when you order, simply tell us your size in the order notes or message us after ordering. If the fit isn't perfect on arrival, resizing is complimentary within the first year.
TIPS FOR AN ACCURATE MEASUREMENT
- Fingers are smallest in the morning and in the cold, measure in the evening at room temperature.
- If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between.
- Wider bands wear more snugly, consider going up half a size for bands over 6mm.
- Buying as a surprise? Borrow a ring they already wear on the intended finger and measure its inside diameter, or ask us to help with discreet detective work.
